“This is the best dessert at this party”.

That is what I heard this afternoon at our Choir Christmas party.  I was so glad people liked them. It is so awesome that these babies are easy to whip up and you do not need a lot of ingredients to do them either.

I also had time to take step by step pictures to help you along the wonderful process of making these. Let me know how it goes? Okay?

So how did you know that S and I were going to make peppermint bark today? We’ll now use your recipe… even though it means another trip to the store to get milk chocolate…

Soooo good! My only issue was that the white chocolate firmed up too quickly so I had to put it into a warm oven for a few minutes so I could press the candy cane pieces into the chocolate. A warning to other cooks: Don’t try it when you’re hungry (aka while making dinner) or there may be nothing left 🙂

Yes my white chocolate did the same this time. And I have made it 4 times before and never had it happen like that. I think I spent too much time working the chocolate and trying to make it pretty! 🙂 glad you liked it!
